Covarage

Terms of Use

Version 1.2.1 - 6 October 2026 (supersedes Version 1.2 of 27 September 2026)

1. About Covarage

Covarage Pte. Ltd. (UEN 202531227H) ("Covarage", "we", "us") provides a technology platform for Singapore businesses. This agreement applies whenever you access or use the platform or covarage.com. By using either, you agree to these terms.

2. What Covarage does

The platform lets your business:

  • keep your insurance documents in one place;
  • see the renewal dates you record, in one place;
  • record the insurance requirements you tell us about;
  • store a claim document and forward it when you ask us to; and
  • be introduced to a licensed insurance intermediary, if you ask us to.

3. What Covarage does not do

Covarage is not an insurer, an insurance broker or a financial adviser, and does not hold any licence from the Monetary Authority of Singapore. Covarage does not:

  • give advice or make any recommendation about insurance;
  • assess whether the cover you describe is adequate or appropriate for your business;
  • compare, rank or express any view on any policy, insurer or premium;
  • arrange or conclude any contract of insurance, or bind cover;
  • underwrite any risk, or provide any underwriting service;
  • assess, negotiate, adjust or handle any claim;
  • issue policy documents; or
  • receive, hold or handle premium or any other money belonging to you.

All advice about insurance is given to you by the licensed intermediary, not by Covarage. Where you are shown a comparison of options, it is prepared and presented by that intermediary using a format the platform provides. Covarage does not populate it or influence what it contains.

4. Introductions and our partners

Covarage works with licensed insurance intermediaries. We are not tied to any one of them, no intermediary has exclusivity over the platform, and we may work with others.

We will only introduce you to an intermediary if you ask us to, and we will tell you which intermediary it is when we introduce you.

When you ask for a quotation or a policy review, we pass your company details, the requirements you give us and the policy documents you upload to a licensed broker Covarage introduces you to, so that they can quote or advise. Covarage does not advise on insurance, does not choose your cover and does not place it. We work with more than one licensed brokerage and the broker you are introduced to may work for any of them.

If your business has invited its own broker onto the platform and you send a request to that broker, we pass the same details to them instead. That is not an introduction: Covarage did not choose that broker.

We do not assess or comment on your details, your requirements or your documents.

After an introduction, we may monitor how promptly and how completely the intermediary responds, so that you can judge the service you are receiving. That monitoring measures service only. We do not review, rate or comment on the cover an intermediary proposes to you.

5. What it costs, and how Covarage is paid

The platform is free while in early access. We will tell you before any charge applies.

Covarage is not paid anything by any insurer. Covarage does not give advice, does not recommend a product and does not choose your insurer. Your licensed adviser does that, and they are accountable to you for it.

6. Your account

Every account is opened through a business. You can open one for your business yourself, or join by accepting an invitation from Covarage's team or from someone at your business, and you accept these terms when you do. You must give accurate information and keep it up to date. You are responsible for keeping your account credentials confidential and for activity that takes place under your account. Please tell us promptly if you believe your account has been used without your authority.

7. Your information

We use the information you provide to operate the platform, to store the documents you upload, and - where you ask to be introduced - to pass what section 4 describes to the intermediary concerned.

If you use our concierge service we pass what you tell us to whoever is needed to act on it - a clinic, a hospital, a medical network or the broker on your account - and only what they need to act.

If your business invites its own broker onto the platform, that broker can see what they need to serve your business - your company details, your employees' details and the policies you link to them - once we have checked that their firm is listed by the Monetary Authority of Singapore as a registered or exempt insurance broker. That check is not a recommendation of the broker.

If you add information about your employees, you confirm that your business may share it with Covarage, and with the brokers your business works with on the platform, to arrange and manage your business's insurance, and that you have told your employees this.

We do not sell your information. How we collect, use, disclose, store and protect personal data is set out in the Covarage Privacy Policy, which forms part of this agreement.

8. Claims

Where you upload a claim document, we store it and - only when you ask us to - forward it to your intermediary or insurer. That is the whole of our role in a claim. Covarage does not assess, negotiate, adjust or handle claims, does not act for any insurer in relation to a claim, and takes no part in deciding whether a claim is paid.

9. The platform is provided as it is

Covarage provides the platform on an "as is" basis and does not warrant that it will be uninterrupted or error-free.

Information about insurance products, cover, terms and premiums comes from intermediaries and insurers, not from Covarage, and Covarage does not verify it. Covarage is not responsible for any advice given to you by an intermediary, for any policy you take out, or for any decision you make about insurance.

Renewal dates are shown as you record them. Responsibility for renewing your policies on time remains yours.

Nothing in this agreement limits or excludes any liability that cannot be limited or excluded under Singapore law.

10. Suspension, closing your account and deleting your records

We may suspend or terminate your access if you breach this agreement, or where we are required to do so by law. Where it is reasonable to do so, we will give you notice first.

You can close your account at any time. When you close it you can also tick to delete all your records, and we delete them straight away - your policy documents, your uploads and your company, employee and vehicle records. If you close your account without ticking that, we delete those records five years after closing. We keep our own accounting records of any transaction between us for five years, which the law does not let us delete, and we keep the record that you consented and that you asked us to delete, because it is how we show we handled your data properly. Write to dpo@covarage.com and we will confirm what was deleted and what was kept.

Before you close your account, or on termination, you may ask us for a copy of the documents you uploaded. Retention is set out in full in section 8 of the Privacy Policy.

11. Changes to these terms

We may change these terms. Where a change is material, we will notify you before it takes effect. Continuing to use the platform after that means you accept the change.

12. Governing law

This agreement is governed by the laws of Singapore, and the courts of Singapore have exclusive jurisdiction over any dispute arising under it.

Covarage is a technology platform for Singapore businesses. We are not a licensed insurance broker regulated by the Monetary Authority of Singapore (MAS) and do not provide any financial advice.

Instead, we work with licensed insurance intermediaries, who provide insurance advice and related services. We are not tied to any one of them, and no intermediary has exclusivity over the platform.

Where you ask us to, we introduce you to a licensed intermediary. We do not compare, rank or express any view on any policy, insurer or premium.
